As No.1 international trade show from feed to food for Asia, VIV Asia is organized every 2 years in Bangkok, located in heart of the Asian booming markets. With around 1,250 international exhibitors and 50,000 expected professional visits from all over the world, VIV Asia 2019 covers all animal species including pig, dairy, fish and shrimp, poultry broilers and layers, cattle and calves. The current VIV Asia value chain already covers a part of the downstream meat production. Big steps have been made for the 2019 edition, introducing Food Engineering.

Session description: Pet industry is booming. Pet owners are willing to spend more on their pets and they consider them as family and friends – like a life companion. As pet owners continue to increasingly humanise their pets, owners have to more consider about pet health. In terms of pet health, what pet owners feed their pets can be the starting point for this. In this presentation, Euromonitor will introduce how to increase in the ratio of feeding pet food to dogs and cats, instead of leftover or treats by human.
